Cabello on tariff war: The consequences are being paid by the people of the United States

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that it is the people of the United States who are paying the consequences of the tariff war.

During his Con El Mazo Dando #523 program, he recalled that recently the Donald Trump administration had to lift restrictions on China on technological products, such as cell phones, tablets, computers. “Because those people don't rise up because of hunger, but if they're not connected to the internet, they are,” he said.

He predicted that the United States will not do well in that war and sooner rather than later they will end up backing down.

“In the United States, there are more than 70 million poor people who eat just one meal a day and eat what they can get,” he said.

He added that China has not gone to the counterattack, only what it has done to respond, “if you increase me, I increase you”. “They don't have it in their plans to fight back, but just because they don't have them doesn't mean they can't do it,” he said.
