The first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed this Monday that the Law against Fascism, Neofascism and
Similar Expressions may “be rejected by haters, but it will be approved
massively by Venezuelans who are willing to walk
the path of peace, a true, lasting peace, a peace that has roots.”
In this regard,
during the Meeting with the National Directorate of the PSUV and the Great
Patriotic Pole, he indicated that the Law against Fascism, Neofascism and
Similar Expressions the Consultation was carried out throughout the national territory to enrich it
with the ideas of the People and sectors of Venezuela, highlighting its advances.
“It was done in the
23 states plus Caracas, 325 people
were present here in the Protocol Chamber and 800 connections from the states and we are receiving the
proposal in accordance with what was stated in the Constitution,” he said and said that one
of the proposals that has been received is the inclusion of the condemnation of cyberfascism
and digital fascism, which were not contemplated at the beginning.
“It is important
that they be included to begin to give shape to denounce and punish
those people who use technologies to achieve hegemony of
hate, persecution and murder, because they have ordered the assassination of a number
of people in these sectors, in order to frighten the people,” he said.
He reaffirmed that
despite this, in the streets there was a town that rejected these threats and “feels
empowered to move forward”. At the same time, he affirmed that any sign or sign of fascism, neofascism, or similar expression of hate should be punished in an exemplary
manner.
On the other hand, he recalled
that the Law on the Control, Regularization, Action and Financing of Non-Governmental Organizations and Non-Profit Social Organizations
has already been unanimously approved by the deputies of the National Assembly (AN),
He emphasized that opposition sectors agreed with the approval of the Law, since they were also attacked by these NGOs with campaigns against them, just to get away from fascism.
