The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the successful participation of President Nicolás Maduro at the BRICS Summit, in the city of Kazan, Russia, where he met with more than 30 heads of government, state and foreign ministers.

“The world is moving towards the BRICS, the world is moving towards the BRICS (...) and nothing and no one can stop the advance of Venezuela, nothing and no one can hide what is happening in Venezuela, nothing and no one can shut up Venezuelans, there is no possible blackmail because we are not blackmailed and we don't have a straw tail, there are those who have a straw tail and owe something to imperialism,” said Cabello during a round of PSUV socket.

He reaffirmed that while our Head of State participated in this great day of integration, in which he demonstrated his experience in these issues, “there were people who did not want to show their faces and did not go there Kazan, our president went to see things head on as we have always done, looking into the eyes”.

He referred to the fact that, sooner rather than later, Venezuela's entry into the group will be consolidated. “We don't owe anything, we can look into their eyes today, tomorrow and always (...) in the meantime we live an active life within the BRICS,” he said.
