Cabello: On the country's roads and highways there will be 3,146 checkpoints

The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, from Paseo Los Próceres, specified that 3,146 checkpoints will be available on the country's roads and highways during the 2025 Carnival holidays.

In this regard, he explained that these points will be for the safety and peace of mind of the people, to avoid accidents “to those who are speeding, to help those who have a mishap in their vehicle.”

In addition, the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, indicated that there will be 370 emergency points, 74 migratory points, 37 national and 133 local terminals, in addition to the 43 available airports.

Cabello took the opportunity to call on seasonal workers to make proper use of spaces and not to throw waste, “put the garbage down when you get home, don't leave waste either on the beach or in the rivers, anywhere, it doesn't cost us anything to collaborate”.
