Cabello on the PSUV: Today is done Pueblo and El Pueblo is made split

“The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) is now a people and the people are a party,” said the general secretary of the red awning, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, on the 19th anniversary of the founding of the political organization launched by Commander Hugo Chávez.

In this regard, during the PSUV press conference, he stressed that the party has become a powerful tool “to carry out the Bolivarian Revolution, to accompany President Nicolás Maduro, to defend the Constitution and to fight together with our People.”

He pointed out that thanks to the capacity that the party has attained to organize and operate, today the Revolution has great ideological and programmatic strength and a powerful instrument of dissemination. At the same time, he recalled that the organization has taken on new tasks in connection with the recent V Congress of the PSUV.

In this regard, he noted that among the tasks, the restructuring of the PSUV stands out, which began with the Integral Base Bolivarian Committees, and now with the Community Commands, of which they have already reported more than 37,000 assemblies throughout the country.

“Those who haven't reported, report, that Carmen (Meléndez) is making her debut as Secretary of Organization,” she said, stressing that this level of organization is only available to a party like the PSUV.
