The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that right-wing sectors in the country use the record of violence every time they lose elections.
“We have experienced this over and over again in 30 elections, when they have won it is when the elections are peaceful here in Venezuela, we didn't go out to burn anyone, here we lost in 2015. And were there any demonstrations here? Zero. They won us the Referendum. And were there any demonstrations here, did we go out to burn down houses, to persecute people? Not at all, but every time they lose they go to violence,” he said.
For this reason, during the inauguration of the photographic exhibition 3 months after the Perfect Victory on July 28, Cabello reaffirmed that the “humble, revolutionary Chavista people, Venezuela, have reasons to be celebrating”.
He said that today, throughout Venezuela, the people celebrate the great victory of President Nicolás Maduro, with a wide variety of activities in every community and street in the country.
