Cabello: Operations to dismantle terrorist plans have been done in a clean and well-planned manner

The operations carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Public Security Agencies to dismantle the terrorist plans maintained by the Venezuelan right, with the intention of sabotaging the elections of May 25, were carried out in a “clean and planned manner,” said the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“The operations have been so clean, so well planned that we took them by surprise (the terrorists) and those who had the weapons didn't respond, those with grenades didn't respond,” Cabello said at a press conference held this Wednesday where, in addition, he showed part of the arsenal that was confiscated from these people linked to the right and who intended to attack strategic State facilities.

In this regard, he recalled how the opposition also tried to use terrorism and violence to try to subvert the country's internal order after the presidential elections of July 28, 2024.

“We caught a person with accurate information from street bosses and UBCH. We had to change the mobilization systems and machinery, we did everything in secret to prevent them from intimidating or harming our people. The strategy worked, after the electoral victory the other great victory was the triumph of peace in Venezuela,” he said.

In the same way, Cabello emphasized that these violent groups do not want peace for Venezuela, while reiterating the complaint about the connection of journalists with the right wing and their responsibility for the dissemination of false information about our country.
