Cabello: Police officers who comment on irregularities will be disgracefully expelled and brought to justice

All complaints received for irregularities committed by police officers are investigated and if we determine the responsibilities they will be punished, emphasized the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

In this regard, during the Con El Mazo Dando program in its 527th broadcast, it reported on the case of two police officers who were recorded using drugs and, after being identified, were captured, dishonourably expelled from the police and handed over to the competent authorities.

“We have to set an example. Right now we have cameras everywhere. Some officials were there and one took out a bag with a spoon and started to put drugs in. What do we do? We grab him and bring him to justice, and they are expelled with dishonor,” he said.

In the same way, he drew the attention of police officers to the ethics with which they must carry out their functions. “You have to wear that uniform with love, that profession you have to love,” he said.
