The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reiterated this Tuesday the warning to
former presidents and leaders of the extreme right in the region that, if they try to
enter the country to disturb the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro, they will be arrested by the authorities.
During a working meeting with
revolutionary forces in Ezequiel Zamora Park, in Caracas, Cabello said he
set up an office at Simon Bolivar International Airport, in Maiquetía, where he will wait for those who attempt to invade the country.
“I'm going to wait for them and I have some rooms that are
wonderful. Are they going to come and invade Venezuela? Is that going to scare
us with that? (...) here there are patriotic women and men willing to defend the Homeland
and if they set foot in Venezuela they will be arrested and brought to justice,” he
ratified.
