This Wednesday, during broadcast 523 of the Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that behind the Reuters media campaign on Chevron and the contract with Petrleos de Venezuela Sociedad Anónima (PDVSA) is Exxon Mobil.

He pointed this out after reading the message that the Executive Vice President shared through her Telegram channel in which she denounces the news outlet Reuters for irresponsibly stating that production increased in Venezuela due to a license granted by the United States (USA) for 6 months.

“A campaign! Guess who's behind all this? The Exxon Mobil! It's a war between them,” he said, adding that “whoever wants oil from Venezuela is here.”

Vice President Rodríguez, who is also president of the national state oil company, wrote on her channel that “PDVSA maintains its commitments to Chevron as contemplated in its contracts and in accordance with the laws of the country. Chevron, on the other hand, is the victim of unlawful sanctions by the U.S. government. The evidence in this regard lies in our hands.”

He also added that “Apparently, Reuters makes lies their daily routine and disqualifies itself to address energy issues in Venezuela. And of the world as well.”

In this regard, the general secretary of the PSUV, assured that the longline media "La Patilla" openly promotes the campaign against the country, referring to a message from this ultra-right portal on social network X where he says: "Guyana is shielded: it signed a defense agreement with the United Kingdom in full attention with the Maduro regime”.

“No wonder they say that, they are the first bidder traitors to the Homeland, they want to see Venezuela bombed,” he said.
