The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed this Monday that the leaders of opposition extremism are thieves, after it was revealed that they are charging a million-dollar commission for the recent illegal sale of CITGO, a subsidiary of Petrleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) in the United States (USA).

“They're thieves, they're rascals. They are bad at governing, they are bad at opposing, you can say that they are good at stealing. They can't see a bolivar because they steal it and put it in their name,” Cabello lashed during the weekly press conference on the red awning.

He recalled that the extremists said they were going to “protect” CITGO and ended up finishing it off, they just finished off the assets of the Venezuelan people. “Nobody said anything, nobody said anything. It is said that the commission that Leopoldo López and his group are charging is more than 500 million dollars, for keeping quiet,” he said.

He indicated that this sector continues to “steal from Venezuelans and they don't care if they know each other, because they are very shameless, shameless.”
