The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that the state of Zulia is governed by the opposition Manuel Rosales, “because of the errors of the (revolutionary) leadership, not of the people.”
“They usually blame the people, not the leadership,” he questioned.
In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 469, he argued that “a leader never assumes anything but blames other leaders: 'I did it well, the others were the ones who didn't do it right'”.
Because of this attitude, he emphasized that the People “are going to go over them, they're going to swallow them whole, if they don't understand what we should do.”
He stated that “the people of Zulia are noble, you see the faces, the expressions of concern”.
Cabello explained that the political teams and the National Directorate of the PSUV meet every Monday and then the People are informed at a press conference. “There are the lines and then the President does his program on Monday night and there are the lines,” he said.
He emphasized that there is no excuse that justifies that state political teams do not meet to address and debate lines and strategies of work, based on a common objective.
