The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, swore in this Tuesday the Revolutionary Forces of the Caracas and Miranda collectives for the defense, security and peace of the Fatherland, on the eve of the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro, on January 10.

In that sense, during the activity, he highlighted that they were swearing in front of the banner that reflects the essence of Commander Hugo Chávez, which is also that of the Father of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar; Ezequiel Zamora; Antonio José de Sucre; Francisco de Miranda; Guaicaipura; Simón Rodríguez; Josefa Camejo and all the other heroines and heroes of the Fatherland.

“We're going to take an oath, I believe in oaths, because when you swear... Why does one swear? Because of the car? What does one put at stake? The only thing that a revolutionary and revolutionary has of value: life; you will never hear a fascist swear by life, because they like to put the lives of others at stake, not theirs,” said Cabello from Ezequiel Zamora Park in Caracas.
