Cabello: The arsenal of high-caliber weapons found are American-made

The former secretary general of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, asserted that the arsenal of high-caliber weapons found in an apartment are of a new model and a United States brand.

“In the United States, it's normal for a person to have these types of weapons stored in the shop window. Every day you see someone come out with a rifle and kill people and nothing happens,” said Cabello Rondón during his Con El Mazo Dando #539 program.

In that sense, he said that it's okay because one of “the promoters of the rifle association is Marcos Rubio, he is the one who has received the most money from that group”, while recalling that it is forbidden to have weapons in Venezuela.

He also asserted that “Venezuelans are not here to attack anyone, but we are prepared to defend ourselves like a pariah tiger.”

“Every attempt at counterrevolution, we must turn it into a great victory. No one or anything is going to be able to handle us,” he added.
