Cabello: The Bolivarian Revolution needs real opposition with a country proposal

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that Olivarian R evolution B needs a real opposition, to take its place as an opponent, with a serious proposal to the country.

This statement was made by Cabello Rondón in reference to the fact that former presidential candidate Luis Eduardo Martínez is allegedly going to oppose the constitutional reform. “Or I hope he opposes it, because that allows us to see each other's faces, because it 's very easy to say I'm opposed without making a counterproposal,” he emphasized, during the press conference of the National Directorate of the PSUV.

In that sense, Cabello Rondón asked: What is their proposal? “An opposition that doesn't make proposals really isn't a position.”

He added that the consequence of not having serious opposition is what is happening with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). “They expect the empire to do something against their own country. We don't need real opposition, ” he said.
