This Tuesday, March 26, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted to the High Delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam that it will always be an ally for our country in the fight for equality and justice in the world.

“For us Vietnam, the People of Vietnam and their communist party will always be a strategic ally in the fight for global equality, for the multipolar world and for justice on our planet,” said Cabello after welcoming the High Delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam with whom he held a meeting to strengthen ties of brotherhood and cooperation.

He also stressed that, as always, it is an honor to have them in our homeland and at this time their visit coincides with the registration of President Nicolás Maduro's candidacy for re-election ahead of the July 28 election, when the stateless right wants to sell lies from Venezuela to the world.

“We have an opposition that every time there are elections takes part, they lose the election and then they change the dress of democrats and put on that of coup plotters and spend five years conspiring with coups d'etat, assassination attempts and when the elections come again they disguise themselves as democrats; but they no longer deceive us and your visit helps us a lot to tell the truth,” he said and noted that this sector means that “Venezuela is a besieged country with police forces chasing people in the streets, when the opposite is true, the Venezuelan people are a happy people.”

For this reason, he reaffirmed that the victory of the revolutionary forces on July 28 must be to advance and consolidate everything that is pending. “Move forward in deepening the agreements reached and everything established,” he said.

For his part, the head of the Vietnam delegation, Cro. Nguyen Ho Ha i, stressed that this is a strategic year to strengthen political and diplomatic relations between his country and Venezuela, since the 35th anniversary of the re-establishment of relations between the two countries is celebrated.

He stressed that his visit to Venezuela is always to give impetus to the agreements signed between the two parties. In addition, he indicated that next year marks the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, “in the face of this event, we also want to make progress in deepening relations with our allied parties and we want to have the presence of a high delegation of the PSUV in our country.”

In addition, the member of the Party's Provincial Bureau, head of the Propaganda and Education Commission, Cro. Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, highlighted the appreciation and affection he feels for our country. “Geographically we are very far away, but our hearts are united in the same fight for equality. We take this moment to thank Venezuela's historic struggles, for strengthening our ties. Throughout history, for decades, the People of Venezuela and progressive forces have demonstrated their unrestricted support for our cause,” he said.

He emphasized that, with the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez and the Bolivarian Revolution, the ties between Venezuela and Vietnam were strengthened, “because they gained strength with the governments and that force will be unstoppable and will manifest itself next July 28 in victory. We will remain united for peace and justice!”

Similarly, the member of the Provincial Party Committee and vice-president of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Cro. Ngo Minh Chau, stressed that this is a good opportunity to increase labor exchange between Venezuela and Vietnam.

At the same time, he extended the invitation to the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, to visit her city “to exchange experiences and strengthen relations between the two cities and thus be able to strengthen political and economic cultural ties. May we be able to reduce the distance between Vietnam and Venezuela and that we can make all the plans and projects signed politically a reality.”
