From the Pedro María Ureña municipality of the state of Táchira, where the event commemorating the sixth anniversary of the Battle of the Bridges took place, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that just like that February 23, 2019, imperialism and its lackeys “will not pass”.

“The vendepatria will be defeated one and a thousand times by the patriots who love this country, by that people who, like that February 23, today tell imperialism and its lackeys: here they will not pass!” , he ruled.

After extolling the people's courage to defend sovereignty, the psuvist leader argued that patriots should celebrate this date that prevented Venezuela from plunging into a war.

“We have reasons to remember February 23, we have reasons to celebrate February 23, if they had passed we would be in a war, because it's not that we were going to give up no, we would be in a war today and I'm sure we would be winning,” he said.
