The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, highlighted this Wednesday the conscience of the Venezuelan people who are mobilized and are preparing to resist any attack that comes from imperialism and its lackeys against the Homeland.

“We mobilize, we take action and we are practicing, we are doing what concerns a people who are fully aware of the powerful enemy that wants to seize the natural resources of our country,” said Cabello during the deployment of the Independence Plan 200 in La Guaira.

He reaffirmed that Venezuela is not on the defensive, quite the contrary, it is organized and mobilized with plans that are part of the comprehensive defense of the nation.

He also denounced that imperialism is used to masking activities in America to carry out coups d'etat or to promote what they call “regime changes”. “They are masked behind alleged operations to combat drug trafficking, that narrative is not believed by anyone in the world, because if they wanted to attack drug trafficking, they would be deployed in the Pacific, dealing with the enormous drug traffic that circulates out there, which coincidentally are directed by their partners in America,” he said.

At the time, he referred to the fact that today Ecuador's ports are used for drug trafficking, through containers. “Just yesterday they grabbed containers in Panama, so the president was even talking about the president who lends himself only to the narrative of imperialism, who had seized drugs and they have to admit that he comes from Ecuador, from the ports of Ecuador,” he said.

For this reason, he reaffirmed that in the face of the siege of imperialism against Venezuela with its false narratives, this People are preparing responsibly under the direction of President Nicolás Maduro.
