Cabello: The PSUV calls for mobilization on October 7 to commemorate the triumph of Commander Chávez

The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced a major national mobilization for October 7, with the objective of commemorating the electoral triumph of Commander Hugo Chávez in the 2012 presidential elections.

During the usual press conference of the organization of the red awning, he said: “We are going to hold a new march on October 7. Why the 7th? Because it's the anniversary of the great triumph of our Commander Hugo Chávez in the 2012 elections, and we're going to remember him on the street.”

Cabello recalled the massive closing of the campaign carried out in the rain in the Venezuelan capital. “The seven main avenues in downtown Caracas were filled,” he said.

“That day a stick of water fell here, the Cordonazo de San Francisco, but the people stayed in the rain with Commander Chávez, and they led to a great victory,” he emphasized.
