Cabello: The real reason for the siege against Venezuela is its natural resources

This Wednesday, October 15, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the real reason for imperialism's siege against Venezuela is our natural resources.

“Forget excuses, forget failed arguments, fake news, false positives against our country; the only reason, the real reason for the siege and attack against Venezuela are its natural resources,” he said during the Activation of the Management Bodies for Integral Defense (ODDI) in Miranda.

He emphasized that, even if imperialism masks its true intentions, national unity must be above any personal position.

For this reason, he highlighted the popular-military-police merger that is taking place today throughout Venezuela for the defense of the Homeland. “It's not just part of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, it's not just the police force, it's also part of the people,” he said, highlighting the awareness that all Venezuelans have today in the face of threats.
