Cabello: The US is used to sending troops instead of humanitarian aid

The United States, because of its imperial mentality, is used to sending troops instead of sending humanitarian aid in the event of natural disasters, criticized the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“If a country suffers a disaster, why do you have to send troops if what is needed there are doctors?” , Cabello questioned, while recalling the actions of the United States when an earthquake desolated Haiti or when the flood affected the state of La Guaira in 1999.

In this regard, the revolutionary leader recalled how in 1999, after the tragedy in La Guaira, the defense minister for the time, Raúl Salazar, coordinated, without consulting with President Chávez, the entry of American ships into our country.
