Cabello: The VEN 911 system allows us to continue growing in the protection of the People

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, visited the offices where the Ven 911 System operates in the Miranda state to review and check the operation of this space, which guarantees the attention and protection of the people.

In this regard, he highlighted that the state of Miranda has 522 cameras installed, which are supervised by personnel who are also responsible for receiving calls, through VEN 911, regarding any report of any circumstance that occurs in the communities.

“There are 522 cameras installed and they (the officials) are here as a reinforcement to the cameras, because they are the ones who receive the reports, the call and, suddenly, there is an issue of medical emergency, they call Civil Protection, they call the nearest hospital, the firefighters; or if there is a crime situation, they call the nearest security agency; cases that the same community reports are treated almost immediately,” he said.

He stressed that in the face of any contingency that occurs due to the rains, as in the case of today, those personnel of the Ven 911 System receive calls to take immediate action. “And so we are growing in the protection of our people,” he said.

He reiterated that the VEN 911 System is a strength that Venezuela has today, since it not only makes it possible to respond to the people's emergencies, but it also allows us to check the 27 security points of the entity and review the faults where there are to correct them.

“Nowadays it's a strength and we have to take care of it and expand it. We have increased the capacity we had (...) almost 20 times, in seven months, but we are going to continue to grow (...) today we have a large part of the state covered and that guarantees us to serve our people efficiently,” he said, stressing that the objective is to cover the entire entity through this system.

In addition, he reaffirmed that the VEN 911 System represents the primary point of attention that exists for any case or novelty that happens in the entity.
