Cabello: There is no people in this America that has not had a CIA-sponsored coup

On the night of this Wednesday, October 15, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled that “there is no people in this America that has not suffered a coup d'etat sponsored by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)”.

Referring to the announcement by the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, regarding the authorization of the CIA to carry out operations in Venezuela, the socialist leader ironized this acceptance of a fact that has happened on the continent since the beginning of this instrument of espionage by the North American government.

“Just imagine! It will begin to operate formally, for the first time (...) they have never operated here,” he ironized and urged to question the peoples of the continent about all the interventionist, terrorist and coup actions of the CIA in their countries.

“Ask the Peoples of the world and of America, what do they think when they speak like this? There is no town that has not had an assassinated leader sponsored by the CIA. Ask! Even in the United States itself, so that they can see how many leaders the CIA has assassinated and the big transnational companies what they are going to Latin America for,” he said, citing as an example the coup d'etat in Chile against President Salvador Allende in the 70s of the last century.

He added that “they go out to buy conscience and whoever has it cheaply they buy it. They are not going to buy that people's conscience.”
