The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that the extreme right is trying to transfer its drug trafficking and terrorism operations to the East of the country, after the coup against its criminal network in the state of Zulia.

In this regard, Cabello recalled the capture of a Venezuelan-Spanish citizen, identified as Armando López Ortega, “internally claimed drug trafficker, linked to the terrorist group” of the extreme right in Venezuela, in the East of the country.

“Notice that the coup in Zulia hurt so much that they are trying to change their structure to the East of Venezuela,” said the minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
