The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reiterated the preparation of the People to defend the Homeland in the face of any situation, in the midst of threats from the United States (USA), which maintains an illegal military deployment in the Caribbean.

“This country has been preparing for any situation. We're not going to get into a trench, that's not the concept. We have already spoken to you on several occasions, prolonged active resistance. And what does active resistance mean? That whoever produces furniture continues to produce furniture, whoever has a corn plantation continues to plant corn, but prepare us for any attack,” Cabello highlighted during the weekly press conference of the red awning.

In this regard, he pointed out that the People are mobilizing together. “ We are getting ready. According to this Constitution, the State has a monopoly on weapons, and the State has decided that the weapons of the country, of the State, are in the hands of the People for their protection. And that's what we've been doing,” he emphasized.
