On Wednesday night, on his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdao Cabello, responded to the son of Thor Halvorssen, to whom he assured that the fact that his father had not been convicted does not mean that he is innocent of the cases that were charged to him in the 90s in relation to the envelope bombs planted in Caracas.

Cabello explained that information was published on the Con El Mazo Dando website that refers to old news from newspapers from the 90s, about a series of explosions that occurred in Caracas. He reported that before these publications, he wrote “a certain Halvorssen saying that Cabello resorts to events of the past in an attempt to discredit those who oppose him today (...) He mentioned the 1993 case of my father, which was denied and legally dismissed.”

In this regard, Diosdado Cabello explained that in the 90s this citizen was involved in placing envelopes, bombs and niples in different parts of Caracas, which caused the death of several citizens, as well as injuries to others. The explosive devices were placed in a service station, headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice and a restaurant. The mastermind of the operation is Thor Halvorssen, a collaborating agent of the CIA - according to his own statements and credentials. “This guy is the uncle of Leopoldo López and to date he acted in complicity with DISIP officials and its director Henry López Sisco,” said Cabello.

He detailed that Thor Halvorssen's son was the person who “paid for the Nobel Peace Prize to be awarded to Maria Corina Machado”.

He added that “that is the story of those who have the money of a lifetime. This is how they kill presidents, ministers (...) here they have killed half the world and they never pay. Here they have even killed brothers for money and then they settle up with each other.”
