This Monday, May 26, the
general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, criticized
that the opposition sectors are silent about the kidnapping of Venezuelans in El Salvador and the United States
.
“There are crazy people here to pull up, the
problem is when the crazy people have a microphone and say these things, I wish they had the
strength to ask for the Venezuelans who are detained there, in the United States,
kidnapped, persecuted...”, he said during the PSUV press conference,
referring to what sectors of the opposition have proposed naming the company Chevron as a criminal organization.
In this regard, he reaffirmed that “sanctions against Chevron
are a US problem, Chevron is not Venezuelan, it's gringa, that's theirs (...)
but they (the opposition) have that answer because they are employees of Exxon Mobil”.
“We are free, we are not employees
of Exxon or Chevron, whoever wants to come here must do so with the rules set by Venezuela;
that the gringos sanctioned him, that is their problem, not
ours; if they come and comply with what is established in Venezuela, we
work without any inconvenience,” he said.
He reaffirmed that, little by little, those voices of the extreme right will be silenced “because of the amount of stupid things they say and in the end no one will end up stopping them”.
