This Monday, February 19, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed that the United States embassy has nothing to say in the internal affairs of our country.
“A long time ago we kicked the United States embassy out of here, it has nothing to do in the internal affairs of Venezuela,” he said, referring to the decision of that body calling for the expulsion of officials of the United Nations (UN).
He also indicated that if they were thrown out “it wasn't for good (...) and it's the best thing that ever happened to us.” At the same time, he indicated that the UN was thrown out for not respecting Venezuela's sovereignty.
“We don't know what retaliation it could take (...), but well the UN is controlled by the United States and we can expect anything crazy,” he said, recalling the hypocrisy of this world body that is keeping silent about the massacre in Palestine.
