The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, warned those who seek to disturb the peace of the Venezuelan people that there are cameras everywhere in the country and in the face of any crime they can be captured and brought to justice.
“I tell the gentlemen who want to fuck up the lives of Venezuelans: There are cameras everywhere; and we were able to grab and see how the guys arrived on motorcycles with their helmets (to the bank), but somewhere they put on their helmets and somewhere they took it off, and they didn't count on the cunning and were captured,” he said, referring to the recent robbery of a bank in the La Florida sector of Caracas.
He pointed out that these actions are rare to be seen today; so he did not rule out that they may be linked to sectors of the extreme right that have lost all scruples and seek to disturb the country's peace. “All of this is linked to creating the environment that there is violence in Venezuela,” he said.
He reaffirmed that our country, compared to countries like Ecuador, is among the safest. “While Ecuador today has more than 60 homicides per hundred thousand inhabitants, we are at 2.8,” he pointed out and confirmed that sectors of the opposition seek to generate actions to generate their matrices that in Venezuela live in chaos.
