Cabello: Venezuela is a People of Peace and is preparing for the canonization of its saints

The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that our country is a People of Peace, recalling the beautiful demonstration that took place last Monday at the headquarters of the United Nations (UN) in the country.

“Venezuela is a people of peace (...) on Monday we went out to march to the UN in a beautiful demonstration also in peace, as are always the demonstrations of the Chavista people, with great joy,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

In addition, he highlighted that Venezuelans are preparing for the canonization of the first two saints of our country: Santa Carmen Rendiles and San José Gregorio Hernández.

The canonization of the first two Venezuelan saints is scheduled for next Sunday, October 19; various liturgical activities are planned within the framework of this date.
