The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that State security agencies, in coordination with foreign ministries in other countries, seized a boat with more than 700 kilos of cocaine.

“ Right now that task is being carried out, an operation with a European country, we are working together and at this moment, more than 700 kilos of cocaine must already be in Venezuelan territorial waters,” he said and pointed out at a press conference that this is why sectors of the extreme right are desperate to carry out destabilizing actions in the country.

He also denounced that the Government of Ecuador is at the service of drug trafficking. “ Mr. Noboa and his family control the ports and they have fruit and vegetable companies; remember the amount of drugs they have seized in Europe in shipments of bananas and avocados from Ecuador,” he stressed and pointed out that the southern president is being pressured to try together with Erik Prince to do something in Venezuela.

On the other hand, with regard to the dismantling of terrorist groups in Venezuela, he pointed out that not only have they captured the different elements already presented for destabilizing actions, but that evidence continues to arrive from the interior of the country.

In addition, he specified that sectors of the extreme right continue to train mercenaries as they did in Colombia with Operation Gideon and the assassination attempt against President Nicolás Maduro.

He reaffirmed that flights from Venezuela to Colombia continue to be suspended, despite questions from some sectors. “We know what we are doing and the first thing we want is to guarantee peace for Venezuelans and prevent mercenaries from other countries from continuing to enter,” he said.
