Cabello: Venezuela will close this year with historic numbers in terms of crime reduction

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the significant reduction in crimes in the country, thanks to the articulated work of State Security agencies.

“Venezuela is going to close this year with historic numbers” with regard to the reduction of crimes, Cabello said on a television show with President Nicolás Madura, during an event to strengthen the Community Government.

“In 2024 we had an X number of people murdered, this year we are going to have that number X minus 300 and so many, almost 400. An extraordinary achievement because it has to do with the Peace Quadrants, it has to do with the work that is done in La Chiquita in the territory, on the site, it has to do with the integration of police forces with our armed force, but above all it has to do with popular, military and police fusion,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he pointed out that “police officers, together with our beloved Bolivarian National Guard and the Armed Forces as a whole, are working together as a single block, as a single force against those who want to destabilize our country.”
