Cabello: We are ready to defend ourselves against anyone, whenever and however

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the revolutionary people are always ready to defend the Homeland, with regard to the calls for attacks, bombings and invasions called for by sectors of the right against Venezuelan territory.

“What we are, is ready to defend ourselves against whoever, whenever and however,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando No. 532 program, in which he described as “stupid” the statements of the extreme right María Corina Machado against Venezuela and its link with Iran .

In this regard, he questioned the use of the Iran-Israel conflict to try to get them to attack our territory. “Some here were in an uproar , La Sayona asked that they invade Venezuela and bomb it; then they went out to do damage control (...) it's a stupid thing to ask that they bomb their own people.

He assured that these types of actions by Machado may come “from moments of depression and exaltation of spirits for different causes, but the truth is that they called for invasion against Venezuela and began to say there in their madness that after Iran came Venezuela”.

In addition, he acknowledged statements from the same sectors of the opposition as rejecting Machado's statements. “You don't have to be a Chavista or an anti-Chavista to ask that national soil be respected, that's a matter for patriots (...) I have always said that there are patriots who are anti-Chavista, who are not revolutionaries, but they are patriots,” he said, pointing out that the extreme right doesn't care about anything

For this reason, he reaffirmed that today when they threaten Venezuela from all sides, the soldiers of this Homeland and this People are “standing on their feet and we do not humiliate ourselves before anyone”.

Iran played for world peace and put a stop to Zionism

The also sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace highlighted the dignified response of the People of Iran “to a savage and devious aggression on the part of Zionism, of the genocidal people who govern the Zionist State of Israel.”

“Iran fought and won (...) the warning was answered by military action on the part of Iran, in the legitimate and just right to defense,” he emphasized and stated that although it lasted a few days, “we have no doubts that at any moment they will attack again,” he added.

He also pointed out that Israel has always been a State to serve empires “to do their will in that area of the world and from there to control, threaten, generate revolts and coups of States in the area, thus having territorial control”.

In addition, he stated that his allies have handed over nuclear weapons to Israel “and no one puts control of that, they have messed with everyone, but they messed with the one they should not have messed with,” he said.

He specified that, as a result of the aggression, the number of missing persons reported more than 350,000 due to the impact of the war. At the same time, he pointed out that in his opinion the war has not ended; however, he reaffirmed that from Venezuela we will continue to promote peace.

“We (revolutionaries) advocate peace, even those who need wars because those are their businesses. Whoever takes the side of war and violence is only opening a space for things that no one can stop,” he said.

María Corina Machado hates her country, but above all the humble people

The also Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace assured that the far-right María Corina Machado has shown her ear for this country and its people.

“She hates her country, but above all she hates the humble people, because the humble people have prevented her and her people from becoming president. He hates him a lot,” he said, noting that because of his ambition , La Sayona doesn't care about what happens in Venezuela.

“She doesn't care about anything at all, those bombs that fall in Palestine, she wants them to fall here in Venezuela. That those who die die, that doesn't matter to them, that's what they call collateral damage, and that collateral damage is usually counted in human lives,” he stressed.

He asserted that the leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution have accused them without proof of any number of facts, just to justify their follies. “What haven't they accused us of? What they think of one day, that's what they accuse us of, to justify anything they (imperialism) want to do and the Venezuelan opposition supports them,” he said.

The OAS is useless and its opinions slip away

Cabello said that organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS) have become obsolete and only function as arms of imperialism to support their actions against the countries of the world.

“The OAS is an institution that is useless, but it is an instrument that imperialism uses to subdue Presidents who have their ambassadors there. We don't have ambassadors there,” he said.

He pointed out that imperialism had already given instructions to the new Secretary of the OAS. “Boy, they told you to shut up, they told you that here I am the one who pays and you do what I say, from now on you start attacking Venezuela and you have already gone crazy, asking again for the results of the elections of July 28,” he stressed and stated that these organizations always “repeat their script (...) but it doesn't say anything about Ecuador.”

In that sense, he asserted that “their opinions slip away from us, whatever he wants, they continue to scratch the world, that we will remain free, sovereign and independent. We don't accept guardianship from anyone.”

Tariff longliners are the ones who defend La Sayona

The revolutionary leader denounced the tariffed longliners who echo the messages of opposition extremism and the regional right, going so far as to defend anti-Venezuelan and criminal positions.

He recalled that when María Corina Machado called for invasions against the country, they came to her defense and called the accusations made in response to her stateless requests a ruthless campaign.

“Everyone knows that these long-time journalists are paid for drug trafficking and paramilitarism, and when we denounce this connection between terrorism, conspiracy and paramilitaries they began to say that it was not possible (...) because it is and they are doing it,” he said.
