Coffee from Boconó, Trujillo state, received 90.38 points, one of the highest scores in the world in the international category, at the IV Venezuelan Specialty Coffee Meeting 2025, held in La Carlota, Miranda state.

The information was released by the Russian taster, Dimitri Salikov, during the closing of the international meeting attended by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

The international taster said he was “in love with Venezuelan coffee”.

Among the characteristics that established it as one of the best coffees in the world, they stand out, according to the tasters, as a coffee with a solid, tasty and exotic flavor.

420 producers presented themselves at the meeting, who exhibited and competed with their samples before the tasters.

Venezuelan coffee is currently being exported to Egypt, Türkiye, Cuba, the United States, Italy, Australia, Russia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Belarus, Curaçao, and others.
