The candidate for re-election for the office of governor of La Guaira for the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar, José Alejandro Terán, highlighted the “expediency” of the voting process.

After exercising his right to vote, from the Catia La Mar parish, Terán highlighted the work of the National Electoral Council (CNE), which he described as “transparent and neat”. In addition, he noted that, “it's a very simple process, it practically doesn't take anything.”

“Today we vote for democracy, for political stability and against fascism, against violence. People are voting for their right to live in peace, for everyone's right to build their own future,” he added.

Finally, he welcomed the work of the National Armed Forces “which has been deployed, to ensure that peace and tolerance reign in each of the electoral centers”.
