Candidate Nicolás Maduro: What we are going to choose on July 28 is the right to the future

The candidate of the
United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, before the Electoral Power, assured that
the Venezuelan people have been his moral support in all these 11 years in which he assumed
the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez.
“I am made of the blessed clay of the
People, and that has already been the People with their persistence and perseverance, my intellectual
teacher, my spiritual guide and my physical and moral support,” he said,
He indicated that he registered his candidacy with
the National Electoral Council (CNE) because of his infinite love for the Fatherland, “and
I learned as a child to cultivate loyalty, the happiness of the loved one and to
defend and respect him even above my own life if necessary.”
He extended his invitation to
Venezuelans to continue building the Homeland with love to continue cultivating the future of
the country.
“This is not a choice for a color,
a man or a name, what we are going to choose on July 28 is the
right to the future, to the right to exist, the right to life and to have a homeland,” he
stressed.
He assured that
revolutionaries have a country plan as a result of experience and extensive and
permanent consultation and debate with the People.
“They, those with the last names, the lackeys of the empire have never had a country project,” he stressed.
