CANTV connected fiber-optic services to health centers in Anzoátegui

In the state of Anzoátegui, CANTV connected the Aba Ultra service, 100% fiber optic, to different health centers in the city of Barcelona, specifically in the Tronconal III sector, in the Simón Bolívar municipality.

This action is part of the company's Modernization Plan and aims to guarantee a high speed Internet connection in clinics and hospitals in the Eastern region.

In this regard, according to a press release, technical and specialized CANTV staff connected several institutions in the Simón Bolívar municipality through GPON technology, including the Comprehensive Clinic for Women, the Dr. Maruja Clavier Oncology Clinic and the Popular Consultorio Los Estudiantes.

Génesis Torres, director of the Comprehensive Clinic for Women, highlighted the importance of this modernization: “Thanks to the change of networks, we can now optimize our administrative and accounting processes in real time, which directly benefits our management.”

For her part, Daniela Borrero, administrative director of the Oncology Clinic, stated that the Aba Ultra service “allows us to have greater interaction with our patients and the different medical areas, improving care”.
