In Barcelona, Anzoátegui state, CANTV is laying 15 kilometers of optical fiber to bring the Aba Ultra service to more than 1 thousand families in the Guamachito sector.

The works include the construction of optical ports and installation of components of the GPON network. This effort will make it possible to offer users high-speed Internet, as well as Aba TV GO and IP Telephony services.

According to a press release from the telephone company, the development of the project is the result of close collaboration with the People's Power. In this regard, María Navarro, spokesperson for the Technical Telecommunications Board (MTT) The Force is the Union, highlighted the importance of this synergy.

“After several meetings with community leaders and residents of the area, today this dream is possible. We feel happy and privileged in our sector to have the Aba Ultra service, 100% fiber optic, which will allow us to enjoy high speed Internet with CANTV,” said Navarro.

The spokeswoman explained that in the first phase, the cadastre survey and the demand for potential subscribers were carried out with the support of MTT, community leaders and spokespersons of the UBCH.
