CANTV provided Caracas communities with training for the protection of telecommunications networks

In the spaces of the Andrés Bello High School, in Caracas, a multidisciplinary CANTV team held a meeting with spokespersons from the Capital's Technical Telecommunications Boards, under the slogan “In defense of peace and for a happy Christmas”.

The activity was carried out within the framework of the Comprehensive Defense Plan guided by President Nicolás Maduro and aimed to strengthen the coordination between the company and the People's Power for the protection of telecommunications infrastructure in the communities.

During the day, CANTV workers gave a workshop focused on the protection and security of services. This knowledge seeks to promote citizen co-responsibility in protecting networks.

In addition, according to a press release from the company, a practical exercise was carried out to address incidents in fiber optic networks, where the response to outages and other contingencies was simulated.

This demonstration made it possible to illustrate to MTT how Cantv operates and deals efficiently with incidents, working hand in hand with communities to ensure the continuity and quality of telecommunications services.
