During the month of September, CANTV restored telecommunications services to more than 26,500 subscribers in the Capital region, after resolving faults in networks and transmission media, due to deterioration, theft and vandalism, damage caused by third parties, weather conditions, and other factors.

According to a press release from CANTV, in Caracas, approximately 12,600 users were served, where company crews were deployed throughout the 22 parishes that comprise it, in order to solve breakdowns and provide attention to the requirements of the population.

Simultaneously, in the state of La Guaira, nearly 900 incidents were resolved, which allowed the reconnection of fixed telephony and Internet to the inhabitants of the Vargas municipality. In addition, in Miranda, there were more than 13,200 cases resolved thanks to the work carried out by the company's technicians.

The company's technical staff carried out corrective and preventive maintenance work on networks and transmission equipment, changing cables, strips, sleeves, connectors, reconstructing joints and checking telephone lines. These actions are carried out with the support of the People's Power and the Technical Telecommunications Boards.
