Caracas authorities activate contingency plan and monitor services in health centers

Through her account on the social network
Instagram, the mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the
Municipal Integral Defense Management Body activated a contingency plan to address any situation that
occurs, after the attack on our National Electricity System.
Meléndez sent greetings to the
Venezuelan people and stated that “the Electrical Cabinet is deployed, working
on the progressive restoration of the service, and in the capital city taking care of the
supply of water, gas, food, as well as the provision of transportation and collection of solid waste.”
“In security, the Caracas
Police, as well as the Bolivarian National Militia, are still active, working as a team.
The Command Post of the Mayor's Office of Caracas, also working
to serve the People, and the National System of Public Media and activated
community stations,” said and noted that progressively “we are returning to total normality.”
For his part, the head of government of
Caracas, Nahúm Fernández, reported that Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI) and Integral Rehabilitation
Rooms (SRI) are deployed at the José Manuel de los Ríos
Children's Hospital to verify the system of
power plants, diesel and drinking water.
Fernández stressed that he is accompanied by the single health authority in Caracas, Morela Camacho, to carry out supervision in these health centers.
