Caracas City Council sworn in a new directive for the legislative period 2026-2027

From the session room of the Libertador Municipal Council in Caracas, this Tuesday, January 6, the new board of directors for the legislative period 2026-2027 was officially installed, which will be chaired by Councilwoman Jazmín Campos, representative of the Valle-Coche Circuit.

The board was completed by the vice-president: councilman Luis Istúriz, from the parish of January 2 3; head of Fraction: councilman Alexander Berroteran; secretary: Sandy Guzmán and undersecretary: Ricardo Barreto.

During her speech, the incoming president, Jazmín Campos, reiterated her support for the constitutional president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros and the first lady Cilia Flores.

He also expressed his commitment to do everything possible to achieve his return to his homeland, after what he described as a kidnapping by the United States government.
