Caracas City Council will recognize the country's photographers

The City Council of Caracas will hold a special event this Monday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m., to commemorate the Municipal Day of Photography, the Photographer and the Photographer, with the objective of recognizing the work of men and women who are dedicated to capturing beauty through the lens.

This was announced by the National Center for Photography (CENAF) through its account on the social network Instagram, in which it extended an invitation to all those interested in attending. At the same time, he indicated that the event will also pay tribute to the photojournalist, Juan Quijano.

Since 1999, the National Day of Photographers and Photographers has been commemorated in Venezuela every August 19, as a way of paying homage to professionals who frame news, articles, but above all important or emotional situations through photos.

In our country, a series of activities are carried out for those who specialize in obtaining, with the help of their cameras, the most important moments of everyday events, reflecting events that help to prove problems or virtues thanks to the images created by these artists.
