The mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Melendez, led a delivery of works for the community of Sarría in the parish of La Candelaria in the capital city.
“These great and important works were handed over to the Sarría Rebelde Commune, where some transformations have been carried out for about two months that we had here with Caracas Sonríe and several spaces have already been inaugurated in addition to those provided by President Maduro, who came to inaugurate the spaces of the Mission Base of the House of Grandparents and Grandmothers and the sports court for this community,” said the local authority from Caracas.
He added that his office assumed the commitments of the national government, so they created the teams and began to recover those needs that the people had in that territory.
“The children were happy because right now that they are on vacation they have space to hold their children's parties, a space that had been abandoned for a long time, we recovered it, to give life for our boys and girls to use, with all its complementary activities because we are going to continue working and the recreation of all the Venezuelan people, specifically here in compliance with the order of President Maduro, who asked for less desk and more territory,” he said from l to Great Mission Base Juana Ramírez La Avanzadora.
He stressed that as part of the new model of the Communal State, the National Government, through the Federal Government Council (CFG), guarantees funding for the two projects chosen by the inhabitants of that community in the last Popular Youth Consultation: the creation of the Sarría Rebelde Gastronomic Corridor and the School of Training and Entrepreneurship.
