This Friday, the Revolutionary People mobilized to ratify their support for the Law against Fascism,
Neofascism and Similar Expressions.
The grand march, organized by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), started from the headquarters of the state company CANTV, located on Libertador Avenue, to go to the Vice Presidency of the Republic, on the corner of Carmelitas, passing through Plaza Morelos, Parque Carabobo and the corner of San Francisco in Caracas.
Among the attendees, Mariela Mejías, from the city of Valencia, stands out, who stressed that “the
bill aims to prevent future acts of violence
that threaten the country's stability. In addition, it expresses elements
such as the guarantee of political rights and peace, the prevention of
hatred and the protection of society, so it is necessary to support it together with the security of the country”
Meanwhile, Jonatan González stressed that “President Nicolás Maduro ordered to accelerate the approval of legislation against fascism in the face of the violence and destabilization that sectors of the extreme right have wanted to impose on the country and that we are not going to allow it to do so. We are here in support of the Act.”
In the vicinity of the vice-presidency, Vicente Colmenares offered words, who explained that “the instrument consists of four chapters and 30 articles, as explained by the Head of State. We must all support him, because he will seek to keep peace in the country. We will not allow our country to be spoiled. Let justice be done! And opponents who carry out acts of violence are punished.”
