Surrounded by flowers, boys and girls, joy and cold, this Monday, December 1st, the traditional character of Pacheco, a popular icon of Venezuelan Christmas who offered his good wishes and surprises for the capital city, came down to Caracas.

With great joy and emotion, Caracas families joined this holiday that marks the beginning of the holiday season, reaffirming the strength of popular traditions and the festive spirit that characterizes the Venezuelan people.

In Plaza Bolívar, the Town celebrated with joy and enthusiasm the traditional Bajada de Pacheco, a cultural event that brings together hundreds of parranderos musicians, events that represent one of the most vivid expressions of national identity.

Pacheco began the tour from the corner of El Conde, accompanied by parades and allegories of characters, a party of Drum in Clave, boys, girls, young people and older adults from the Cathedral Parish, until reaching Plaza Bolívar in the capital, where the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez and other authorities were waiting for him.

The Ensemble of the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Caracas, with the participation of Gerardo Valentín of the Los Melódici Orchestra, enlivened with its festive music for this celebration enjoyed by the people of Caracas and Caracas.

There was also the presentation of the Children's Songs of the Orfeón Libertador, with 150 talents of girls and boys.

Other popular groups were the Parranderitos de La Pastora, the La Familia Formula Orchestra, the Immerca Orchestra and the Caracas Police Orchestra.
