Caracas Retumba 2025 starts on Thursday 18th at Plaza Diego Ibarra

The head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, presented the details of the program of the Caracas Retumba 2025 Festival, whose Christmas edition will begin on Thursday, December 18 at 4:00 in the afternoon, in Plaza Diego Ibarra.
The event will include the participation of national and international artists and will be protected by an extensive comprehensive security operation made up of 850 personnel and the provision of four ambulances per night. Fernández specified that Afro Criollo, Xuxo, The Perfect Melody, Las Chicas del Can, Omar Enríque and Omar Acedo will perform at the inauguration.
On Friday the 19th, a binational meeting will be held with groups from Colombia and Venezuela, including Scarlett Linares and Luis Silva. On December 21, a salsa night will take place in the parish of La Vega and on December 27 in the parish of San Juan. The festival will culminate on December 31 with the traditional cannon shot in Plaza Bolívar.
