Caracas started leading parathletics in the III National Community Games

The first day of parathletics of the III National Community Games was held at the Metropolitan Stadium of Mérida in the speed, jump and throw modalities, dominated by Caracas with a pair of golds, two silvers and one bronze.
The event was attended by 47 athletes from 8 entities in the country, who competed in various adapted categories.
In 60 deaf-Olympic flat meters under-13, the gold medal went to Jhenairet Peralta from Merida with a time of 8.92 seconds, followed by the capital Yosneiderliz Salgado (9.65) and the Mirandina Antonella Fellico (10.01), while the Aragüeño Ronald Gutiérrez won the men's championship (9.25).
In the men's deaf-Olympic long jump, Isaías Marcano won the gold medal with a mark of 3.25 meters, while in women's deaf-Olympic ball throwing, Febe Uscátegui from Trujillo reached 25.76 meters.
Second triumph
The second gold medal for Caracas was won by Yosneiderliz Salgado in the women's deaf Olympic length, leaving a mark of 3.51 meters, followed by Aragueña Jusselis Vilera (2.96) and Falconian Hellen Petter (2.75).
In the T20 under-13 division, Falconi's Daylimar Vergara won gold in the women's 60 meters with a record of 9.40 seconds, and Zuliano Sebastián Cáceres in the men's event when the stopwatch stopped at 10.01 seconds.
For the under-13 cerebral palsy category, Yaracuyana's Crismari Ramírez dominated the women's 60 meters with a mark of 10.55 seconds and also the ball throw with a shipment of 21.46 meters, while Leonardo Peraza (Carabobo) won the men's 60 meters by stopping the clock at 10.41 seconds.
In men's long jump cerebral palsy, Yaracuyan Geremy Piña won gold thanks to her best record of 2.84 meters.
