Hundreds of people from Caracas gathered in the west of the capital city to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the Cantor del Pueblo, during the seventh edition of the Artistic Meeting of the West Ali Primer a, an event organized by the Marakapana Integral Art School, with the support of the Cultural Mission Foundation.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, this activity, in recent years, has been consolidated as a space for meeting and celebrating popular culture.

With circus, music, poetry and dance, from October 23 to 27, schools, communities and cultural spaces became venues for this diversity of artistic disciplines that presented works inspired by the life and legacy of this important Venezuelan icon.

During these days, five educational centers were addressed: Eduardo Rolh, Carbonel, Miguel Antonio Caro, Escuela Sucre and the Liceo Andrés Eloy Blanco, where students were able to participate in micro-workshops and enjoy wonderful and emotional functions.

At the same time, culture was present in various spaces of the city. In the Ali Primera Park, a Poetic Gathering captivated the public with verses and melodies. The endogenous nucleus Fabricio Ojeda vibrated with a great function of the We Themselves Foundation.

In addition, the children of Los Magallanes de Catia enjoyed the Pedrito El Arbolito circus, while the Eleonel Herrera Sports Center was the setting for the emotional play Ruta Histórico Las Estampas. In addition, the activities were supported by the National Park Institute (INPARQUES) for the realization of this event.
