Cayapa Heróica maintained medical equipment at CDI Capacho Viejo de Táchira

The Cayapa Heroica Plan carried out a day of maintenance and repair of medical equipment at the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) of Capacho Viejo, Libertad municipality in the state of Táchira, ensuring the optimal functioning of devices vital to regional public health.

The activity, framed in the Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission, promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), included the participation of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite-Táchira).

During the day, according to a MINCYT press release, the technicians diagnosed and reviewed the multifunctional parameter monitoring equipment of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the successful repair of an electronic ventilator and the corrective maintenance of the Cardiolife defibrillator, securing the connectors of their plates.

In addition, improvements were made in the area of podiatry with the installation of a bulb and the attachment of cables to a lamp.
